Founded in 2005 by Harry Belafonte, The Gathering for Justice is a New York-based movement-building organization working to end child incarceration and eliminate the racial inequities in the criminal justice system. Blending nonviolent principles with youth and community organizing, it incubates campaigns and projects — including Justice League NYC — that advance racial justice.
