The National Black Farmers Association (NBFA) is a nonprofit advocacy organization founded in 1995 by John Boyd Jr. to serve Black and other small-scale farmers across the United States. It works on civil rights, land retention, access to credit and USDA programs, and rural development, and has been a leading voice in the fight to address decades of discrimination against Black farmers.
