The Nation of Gods and Earths, also known as the Five Percent Nation, is a cultural and spiritual movement founded in 1964 in Harlem by Allah (Clarence 13X). Teaching self-knowledge, Black self-empowerment, and its Supreme Mathematics and Supreme Alphabet, it has been a major cultural influence — particularly on hip-hop — and emphasizes education, community upliftment, and personal transformation.
