Founded in Los Angeles, Dignity and Power Now is a grassroots, Black-led organization fighting for the dignity and power of incarcerated people, their families, and communities. Rooted in abolition and healing justice, it organizes campaigns for jail-system accountability, community oversight, and reinvestment in care rather than cages.
