Co-founded by Angela Davis and fellow organizers, Critical Resistance is a national grassroots organization working to abolish the prison-industrial complex. Through organizing, political education, and campaigns, it challenges the belief that caging and controlling people makes communities safe, and instead builds toward genuine community safety, self-determination, and freedom.
