Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI) is the first nonprofit organization created by Black women to advance the health and wellness of the nation’s Black women and girls. Through advocacy, education, research, and community programs, BWHI works to eliminate health inequities and improve outcomes across reproductive and maternal health, chronic disease, and mental and physical wellness.
