Founded by Alicia Garza, the Black Futures Lab works to make Black communities powerful in politics and in their everyday lives. Through the Black Census Project, policy advocacy, and its sister organization the Black to the Future Action Fund, it transforms Black communities into a constituency that shapes policy and builds independent political power nationwide.
