The African Blood Brotherhood for African Liberation and Redemption (ABB) was a radical Black liberation organization founded in 1919 in New York by Cyril Briggs. A propaganda and self-defense group that combined Black nationalism with socialism, it advocated armed resistance to racist violence, Black self-determination, and Pan-African solidarity during the era of the Red Summer.
